Meet the Principal

Welcome!

I take great pride in serving the Wayne Carle community and have been honored to serve as principal since 2018.

My career in Jeffco began in 2002 as a middle school teacher at North Arvada Middle School. Those early years reinforced the importance of building meaningful relationships with students, families, and the community. Since then, I have had the privilege of serving as Assistant Principal at Molholm Elementary, Assistant Principal at Dunstan Middle School, Principal at Kendrick Lakes Elementary, and now Principal at Wayne Carle Middle School.

At Wayne Carle, I believe that strong relationships are the foundation of a successful school. Our dedicated staff is committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment where every student feels a sense of belonging, is challenged to grow, and is supported in reaching their full potential.

Maintaining a healthy work-life balance is important to me, and I encourage the same for our Wayne Carle staff. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my daughters as they begin their adult lives. My partner and I enjoy golfing together, relaxing by our pond, and simply being homebodies.

I've often been told I have an open-door policy, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I value connecting with our students, families, and community members. My greatest hope is to continue building strong relationships and a vibrant sense of community with the students, staff, and families of Wayne Carle. I look forward to another outstanding year together.
